Ellie Goulding in the hoodI mentioned last summer how great Bestival was and about talking to security guard after security guard until they agreed to look the other way and let me slip past them and into Ellie Gouldings dressing room. I found her manager and, with 2 minutes to spare, stuffed into his hands a monkey hood and a scrawled (slightly tipsy) note explaining that I cycle to her album and that this was a ‘thanks’. (It’s no lie. Dub versions of Starry Eyed especially have powered me and my trailer up some HILLS). Anyway, 5 minutes later - back with my friend and distracted by one I wasn’t expecting to see, Ellie Goudling popped up on stage wearing her hood and the rest is history. I had wondered what she thought about it, she did pop up in print all over the place wearing it. Grazia just found out… to quote, what does the lovely popstrel have to say about her personal style moments?…
‘This is my weird festival get-up when I was going through my boy phase. The trousers are Urban Outfitters and the Nike T-shirt is about 100 years old. The skull necklace is by Jade Jagger – I love her jewellery. The hat was left in my dressing room so I decided to put it on.
